System formwork carpenter — Assumption Parish

Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Assumption Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings The role involves erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
