Punch press operator — Stevens County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a punch press operator in Stevens County, Minnesota. You will be based on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
