Vacancy available: dozer operator (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dozer operator in Schuyler County, Illinois. The job is at a busy earthworks site. Your main tasks: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms Requirements: • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Full-time, day shift.
