Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in McClain County, Oklahoma. You will be based at a high-rise construction project. On a typical shift you will lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. You should have: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
