Safety marshal — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a safety marshal in Monroe County, Georgia. You will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot 3+ years on the tools preferred.
