Vertical milling machine operator — Accomack County

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Accomack County, Virginia. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. On a typical shift you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence. Requirements: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
