Solid plasterer — Webster County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a solid plasterer in Webster County, Mississippi. You will work on a busy domestic building site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline The role involves: • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration Full-time with occasional weekends.
