Gatehouse guard — Midlothian

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gatehouse guard in Midlothian, Scotland. You will be based in a CCTV control room. The role involves log every visitor and vehicle in the duty register; control crowds and manage queues at events and entry gates; operate the boom barrier and check vehicles in and out; raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency. Requirements: • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours • Basic reading of English and local language for registers • Alert, disciplined and punctual At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. £1,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
