Brickwork mason — Carter County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Carter County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
