Vacancy available: horizontal milling machine operator (Kansas)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Gove County, Kansas. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves: • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
