Short order cook — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a short order cook in Wayne County, Illinois. You will work in a hotel kitchen. Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat On the job you will handle: • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO Six days a week, one day off.
