Concrete worker — Nuckolls County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete worker in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins You should have: • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Full-time with occasional weekends.
