Trowel-trade bricklayer — Rains County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Rains County, Texas. The job is on a busy housing site. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time, day shift.
