Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Greene County, Illinois. You will work in a toolroom. The role involves: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Ideal candidate: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
