Marble fixer — Rensselaer County

Join our team: we are hiring a marble fixer in Rensselaer County, New York. You will be based on a residential building site. Day-to-day duties: • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Grind and hone uneven floors flat before the final polish What we are looking for: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Pay around $24 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
