Shuttering carpenter — Calderdale

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Calderdale, England. You will work at a shopfitting company. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw.
