Turning centre operator wanted in Barnwell County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Barnwell County, South Carolina. You will be based in a tool room. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet 1+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
