Lathe programmer-operator — Attala County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Attala County, Mississippi. You will be based at an auto-components manufacturing unit. You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $4,300 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
