Shuttering carpenter • Okaloosa County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Okaloosa County, Florida. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Day to day you will fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
