Kitchen porter — DuPage County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in DuPage County, Illinois. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. You should have: • Able to work fast and keep up under service pressure • Willing to work evenings, weekends and split shifts • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards Your main tasks: • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Restock clean glassware and crockery behind the bar • Help unload deliveries and store stock in the dry store and cold room • Load and run the commercial dishwashing machine through wash cycles • Top up detergent and rinse aid and check wash and sanitise temperatures • Wash chopping boards, knives and kitchen utensils Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
