VMC operator • Montgomery County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a VMC operator in Montgomery County, Illinois. You will work in a toolroom. What we are looking for: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges You will set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
