Finishing plasterer — Middlesex County

Now hiring: we are hiring a finishing plasterer in Middlesex County, New Jersey. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Day to day you will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster. You should have: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Part-time with flexible hours.
