Great opportunity: we are hiring a system formwork carpenter in Craig County, Virginia. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing The role involves box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting. 4+ years on the tools preferred.
