Cold room technician — Cameron County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cold room technician in Cameron County, Pennsylvania. You will be based in a commercial cold storage facility. What we are looking for: • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns • 2+ years hands-on experience in refrigeration and AC • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts The role involves: • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Fault-find control boards and defrost timers • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil 5+ years on the tools preferred.
