Argon welder — Perry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Perry County, Alabama. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On the job you will handle: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through 1+ years on the tools preferred.
