Immediate opening: we are hiring a machinist in Webster Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a ready-made garment production line. Requirements: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Day-to-day duties: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
