Gas service engineer — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas service engineer in Monroe County, Wisconsin. You will be based in customers' homes and kitchens. On the job you will handle: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders 2+ years on the tools preferred.
