Quality assurance assistant — Aberdeenshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The job is on a garment production line. What we are looking for: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Prior experience as a QC inspector in manufacturing On a typical shift you will verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation. Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
