Furnace operator — Potter County

Now hiring: we are hiring a furnace operator in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. You will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand. You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Part-time with flexible hours.
