Press operator — Crook County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press operator in Crook County, Oregon. What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts You will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
