Immediate opening: we are hiring a bread baker in Clark County, Arkansas. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving The role involves keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; score the top of loaves before baking; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,300 per month plus benefits.
