Plasterer's mate • Washington County, New York

Join our team: we are hiring a plasterer's mate in Washington County, New York. You will work on a busy domestic building site. You will apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork; apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; dot-and-dab plasterboard to walls and ceilings. Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Physically fit for lifting bags of plaster and mixing all day • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Full-time, day shift. $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
