Painter and decorator — Whitley County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a painter and decorator in Whitley County, Kentucky. You will be based in a paint and spray workshop. Your main tasks: • Hang lining paper and wallpaper, matching patterns at the seams • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns What we are looking for: • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec • Physically fit for standing, bending and reaching all day • Own brushes and basic hand tools On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
