Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Cooper County, Missouri. What we are looking for: • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones The role involves: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
