Vacancy available: lathe programmer-operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Red River County, Texas. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
