Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Cheboygan County, Michigan. The job is on a road construction project. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Day to day you will follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; refuel the machine and record running hours; backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site.
