Gang bricklayer — Smith County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Smith County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Day-to-day duties: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters 2+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
