Road roller operator — Dixie County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a road roller operator in Dixie County, Florida. You will be based on a busy construction site. The role involves keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery Rotating shifts. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
