Vacancy available: we are hiring a core maker in Barber County, Kansas. Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring. What we are looking for: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
