D6/D8 dozer operator wanted in Orleans County

Join our team: we are hiring a D6/D8 dozer operator in Orleans County, New York. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. The role involves follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse. What we are looking for: • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain 3+ years on the tools preferred.
