Milling machine operator — Chase County

Join our team: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Chase County, Kansas. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves keep in-process inspection records and log production counts; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Overtime paid at a premium rate.
