Day-to-day duties: • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
