Sewing machine operator • Henry County, Alabama

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Henry County, Alabama. The job is in a small denim manufacturing unit. On the job you will handle: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
