Trainee butcher — Dickens County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trainee butcher in Dickens County, Texas. You will work in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date Requirements: • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
