Now hiring: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Egbedore, Osun State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On the job you will handle: • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts ₦255,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
