Join our team: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Josephine County, Oregon. The job is at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
