Machine setter-operator — Brookings County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a machine setter-operator in Brookings County, South Dakota. What we are looking for: • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor On the job you will handle: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet 4+ years on the tools preferred.
