Meat cutter — Desha County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in Desha County, Arkansas. You will work at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On a typical shift you will trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
