Trowel-trade bricklayer — Saint Joseph County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Saint Joseph County, Michigan. What we are looking for: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
