Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Hubbard County, Minnesota. Your main tasks: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor 5+ years on the tools preferred.
